Ingredients

A.    Our  facial  cleansers  are  separated  into  2  separated  items. We  have  found  that  there  are  a  lot  of  organic  and  natural  products  on  the  market , but  they  put  all  of  the  ingredients  into  one  bottle and  this  does  not  allow  each  ingredient  to  come  to  it's  full potential. Sometimes  mixing  them  together works  out  well  and  enhances  their performance. But  not  in  this  case. So  we  have  created  2  separate  products. They  will  work  just  fine  independently. But we  have  found  that for  best  results  it  works  best  if you  alternate  their  usage.
     We  do  not  mean  that  you  follow  one with  the  other  right  after words. What  we  mean  is  that  what  ever  your  routine  is  to  alternate  their  usage. As  an  example  use  one  in  the  morning  and  the  other  one  at  night  Or  every  other  day. What  ever  works  best  for  you.
     We  make  , in the age old way , what  is  called  " Castile  Soap " as  a  base  to  start  with. This  process  is  called  saponification. Basically  this  is  the  process  of  mixing  a  select  group  of  fats , oils  and  butters  with  lye. The  end  result  is  a  saponified  item  called  soap. Now  here  is  where  it  becomes  interesting ~ ~ ~ as  I  will explain.  To  me  it  has  become  more  of  an  " art "  than  a  science. I  have  been  playing  with  this  for  many  years  in  order  to  find  a facial  cleanser  for  my  own  personal  usage.
     After  many  many  batches  and  a  lot  of  ups  and  downs  I  have  arrived  at  a  product  that  I  am  happy  with. I  have  tweaked  it  many  ways  and  many  times. The  result  is  what  I  call  a  " FACIAL  CREAM  CLEANSER ".  Now  here  is  where  our  product  is  noticeably  different  and  departs  from  other  products. I  have  taken  some  of  the  fats , oils  and  butters  all  of  the  way  to  complete  saponification.
     The  other  fats , oils  and  butters  I  have  only  developed  and  taken  to  various  degrees  of  semi - saponification. These  are  done  in  stages  and  then  mixed  together  to  create  the  2  individual  Facial  Cream  Cleansers. By  using  these  selected  ingredients  to  produce  the  2  separate  cleansers  allows  them  to  complement  each  other  and  to  work  in  harmony.
     These  are  all  " HAND  MADE " in  small  batches  in  separate  steps  and  stages. Then  combined  and  mixed  together. This  is  a  slow  and  time  consuming  process , the  end  result  is  what  I  call  a  " FACIAL  CREAM  CLEANSER "  and  well  worth  the  effort  it  takes  to  accomplish  it.
     To  best  explain  what  this  product  is  would  be  to  say  what  it  isn't.  It  is  no  longer  individual  fats , oils  and  butters. But  also  it  is  not  a  completely  saponified  soap. It  is  what  I  call  a  semi - saponified   FACIAL   CREAM   CLEANSER.  It  cleanses  and  moisturizes  your  face  gently  at  the  same   time. BUT , it  is  not  strong  enough  to  strip  your  facial  skin  of  it's  natural  oils.
     It  is  a  good  idea  to  place  the  bottles  upside  when  not  in  use  and  to  shake  well before  using  to  insure  that  the  ingredients  are  well  mixed  as  they  do  tend  to  separate.  After  you  have  cleansed  your  face  and  gently  pat  dried  it , apply  our Collagen Building Serum , give this a minute or so to be absorbed and then apply our Facial  Moisturizing  Serum. Just  a  little  goes  a  long  ways ~ ~ ~  you  don't  need  to  use  a  lot. If a lot remains you have used too much. You will just have to experiment as everyone's skin is different. Then  give  it  a  few  minutes  to  be  absorbed  into  your  skin  and  then  apply  just  a  little  of  our   " FACIAL   TONER  FINISHING  SERUM " on  top  of  this.
     This  finishing  serum  will  take  any  remaining  moisturizer  deep  into  your  skin. Again ~ ~ ~ use  just  a  little  as  it  does  go  a  long  ways. Some  people  would  call  this  a  toner , but , it  is  more  than  that. We  recommend  for  you  to  just  experiment  and  play  with  these  products  until  you  find  what  works  best  for  you. Then you are good to go or you can apply other things if you so desire.
     Here  is  the  routine  that  I  have  developed and that  works  best  for  me  to  cleanse  my  face. The  lymph  gland  system  is  the  drainage  system  for  your  body  and  is  a  subject  that  you  can  study  in  great  depth  and  detail and  that  I  find  very  interesting. What  I  will  explain  is  just  a  short  version  that  I  use  when  I  cleanse  my  face. The  lymph  system  is  activated  by  primarily  3  things ~ ~ ~  gravity , pressure  and  muscle  contraction.  I  start  by  getting  my  face  damp. Then  applying  a  little  cleanser  to  my  hands  and  work  up  a  mild  lather  on  my  face.  You  do  not  need  a  lot ~ ~ ~  just  a  mild  lather  is  all  that  you  need.  There  is  an  old  saying  that  " if  one  is  good  ~  two  is  better , but , not  in  this  case  or  with  these  products.  Too  much  of  a  good  thing  is  a  waste  of  money  and  can  over  cleanse  your  face  and  tend  to  have  a  drying  effect.
     I  work  the  lather  in  a  circular  motion  for  30 - 60  seconds  and  then  splash  warm  water  on  my  face  to  remove  it.  After  you have  done  this  circular  massage  for  about  30  seconds  you  will  notice  that  saliva  is  starting  to  form  in  your  mouth. This  is  the  lymph  glands  at  work  eliminating   TOXINS  from  your  face. You  can  give  your  whole  body  a  lymph  massage. It  is  very  interesting  subject  and  beneficial  to  your  health  and  body. I  would  highly  recommend  investigating  this  to  improve  your  overall  body  skin  health.
     I  have  noticed  that  when  you  are  given  a  professional  facial  that  you  are  generally  laying  down. This  does  not  allow  your  facial  lymph  glands  to  drain  by  the  effects  of  gravity. After  you  have  rinsed  your  face  and  pat  dried  it  follow  up  by  applying  our  collagen building serum , moisturizer  and  then  the  toner finishing  serum. Then you are good to go or you can apply other things if you so desire.

                                                                     PLEASE   NOTE

     Since our products are oil based ~ ~ ~ if you put 2 oz. of an oil based product in a 2 oz. bottle it will over flow as oil is lighter than water. So we put a 2 oz. product into a 4 oz. bottle and a 1 oz. product into a 2 oz. bottle. This also allows the extra space needed to shake the product well each time before you use it.

        I have had skin issues most of my life. Over the years I have tried about everything that is or was available on the market. The results were not always what I wanted and the results varied.

     When I would find something that I  liked eventually it would be taken off of the market or just no longer available. As the company that made it was bought out by a larger company or just closed down for one reason or another.
